Chris Wise & the Hidden Revolution
“This band should be selling out arenas” ~ BBC Introducing Manchester.
Normally when a band is named ‘Somebody and The Something’ you can rest assured that a mighty ego is floating around in there somewhere, but if i tell you that this band is from Rochdale stock, I’m sure you’ll get a better handle on the operation.
Chris Wise & The Hidden Revolution are a three piece crafted in the foothills of the Pennines, next to that lake you can look down on off the M62 on the way to Leeds. Chris sings and swaps from lead to bass guitar with Ian Sanderson, whilst Jon Clark completes this talented trio who all work collaboratively together on their anthemic songs.
They hold a great reputation in Manchester, where shows are packed to the rafters with fans anxious to listen to their infectious, atmospheric and spine chilling songs, and they have now started to spread the word further afield, with two recent tours of Ireland helping them to build momentum and expand their following over on the emerald isle.
This year sees the band releasing new material on revered Manchester label ‘Ugly Man Records’, a label with a keen ear having worked with, amongst others, Elbow and I Am Kloot, in the past.
Old Stick are proud to be working with Chris, Jon, & Ian, building their reputation and increasing their exposure. Check them out for yourselves here;
